After me n a... read more friend started to look more closely at the lock…. The lug nut holes on my wheels is only slightly bigger then the lock itself. The cone part seats back behind the front of the lug nut hole. The only way to get the lock off u will have to damage the hole to fit the socket over but I likely doubt a thief would try to go that far. I can be wrong… like they say if they want it that bad… so I changed my review to 5 stars. Great product sir! I received a set of these locks about a week ago. Looks promising but…. I got the black tuner version for 14x1.50. I was debating over 3 or 4 stars but after evaluating all scenarios seems like one thing which is most common to do is hammering a socket over the lock. Since mine is pretty long u can still fit something over it n bypass the cone itself with a long socket. Sorry I still can’t sleep at night after putting my new wheels on. Wish it was shorter.

I just purchased a new car (2021 Honda Insight). Being that the most stolen wheels in America are Honda's (Accord, Fit, Civic's, and etc), I decided that I needed to... read more protect my investment, especially living in Chicago where I have seen first hand of cars sitting on cinder blocks. I know the standard locking nut that comes with the car can easily be defeated so I decided to protect my investment. So looking around, I first found Rimgard. Those were very expensive ($300) but had an ingenious design. I decided to purchase them, however, once I got them, they actually failed to fit with the OEM wheel nuts (even after replacing the OEM locking nut). That was very disappointing even though the website shows that it should fit. After looking around for another solution, I found Advanced Wheel Locks. The solution looked rather simple as it looks just like a standard locking nut. However, after doing some research, it appears that this wheel lock would take insurmountable time for a thief to break these locks. These locks are irregularly shaped. Like I can't think of a way of getting these out without damaging the rims. These only took 5 minutes to install. Overall, this company rocks. The stuff is made in the USA. Their customer service is awesome as well. Liz Lambert at Advance Wheel Locks quickly answered my emails (like amazingly quick). If you're looking to protect your investment, look no further!

Recently all 4 of my tires got stolen and I was in a panic as to what to do for safety! I was looking up different brand better quality wheel locks and I came across a few better known brands, and just when I was about to catch the bait I did some research on how to get this particular brand wheel lock off tire if you misplace your key, and low and behold there were SEVERAL videos online showing how to get a factory wheel lock off your tire if you have lost the key!!!! That was completely shocking to me because that’s literally a thief’s haven !!!!! As discouraged as I was getting I was still on the hunt for really good wheel locks and thank God I came across Advanced wheel locks! I looked on the company website and saw that they put together different scenarios as to why it would be harder for a thief to get these locks off! I called the company number and Liz was so nice, prompt and reassuring! She has made me feel so comfortable in my decision to buy these wheel locks! I feel so much safer knowing I have this added protection to my tires! Thank God for companies like hers and her husbands! I just put them on the other day but I feel very confident now more then ever! If you are looking to buy some quality wheel locks you should buy Advanced Wheel Locks !!!
