I know the standard locking nut that comes with the car can easily be defeated so I decided to protect my investment. So looking around, I first found Rimgard. Those were very expensive ($300) but had an ingenious design. I decided to purchase them, however, once I got them, they actually failed to fit with the OEM wheel nuts (even after replacing the OEM locking nut). That was very disappointing even though the website shows that it should fit. After looking around for another solution, I found Advanced Wheel Locks. The solution looked rather simple as it looks just like a standard locking nut. However, after doing some research, it appears that this wheel lock would take insurmountable time for a thief to break these locks. These locks are irregularly shaped. Like I can't think of a way of getting these out without damaging the rims. These only took 5 minutes to install. Overall, this company rocks. The stuff is made in the USA. I have had advanced wheel locks for more than four to five years on my Lexus GS400. As a car Enthusiast that is one of the main things that goes through my mind is how to protect my wheels especially knowing that I'm going to be modifying my vehicle. Due to Advanced wheel lock cone shape lug nuts and high-tech key they cannot get the wheel locked out, Advanced wheel locks makes an advanced key for your wheel specifically to your vehicle only and thankfully to the cone shaped lug nut I'm pretty sure they could never remove it or get any grip of removing lol and even if they steal ur vehicle good luck getting the wheels off with out the key it comes with, they would probably have to remove the hole control arms and go from behind the wheel to remain this lock haha Ive been amazed with the product and the results if you are looking for a wheel lock to protect your vehicle and knowing your wheels will be safe even if stolen they will not get through your wheel without the key I suggest you go to advance wheel locks and place your order today as I have now placed my secondary order for my secondary project car.
